About the event
Classes will be held Saturday September 5th, 19th, and October 10th.
They will be at 8:30am - 12:30pm.
Location: Camden County Sustainability Center, 508 Lakeland Rd, Blackwood, NJ or via Zoom.
Field Days will be in the afternoon after the class at a local beekeepers apiary.
This fall series fulfills the regulatory requirements of the State of New Jersey for beekeeper education.
The course will cover: Honey bee biology and life cycle, Selecting hive components, Setting up an apiary, Purchasing honey bees, Honey bee diseases and pests, Honey harvesting, and much more.
